Thoughts on the Album...
Hey Everyone,
Carly gave me a chance to hear to the new We Are The Fallen album. My friends, I must say, you are not going to be disappointed! This record is a sonic journey that will have you coming back for more time and time again.
Ben, John, Rocky, Marty and Carly all bring their own talents and experiences to the table. I am sorry to admit I don't know a lot about the boys' backgrounds (except that Ben & Marty worked on Celine Dion's latest album! Sorry boys, I know I should know much more about your awesomeness - I will learn!). However, I do know a little bit about Miss Carly Smithson. From day one, I was impressed not only with Carly's voice but her ability to infuse her performances with so much emotion. Now that she is performing her OWN material that emotion is even stronger. Along with her voice, Carly has laid her soul on every track.
These songs are epic and diverse. It is pure rock magic, with soaring vocals, irresistible beats, themes both dark and light & even moments of poignant tenderness. There are places that the emotion in Carly's voice is so raw it twists my heart, and there are many times when the music makes me hold my breath. Every member of the band has pulled their weight and put their all into the music. You can hear it in the drums, the guitars, the production. These five talented musicians have created something that cannot be repeated or replicated. You will want to turn up this record and drown out the world. Get ready for the tour because you'll never want the music to stop (though you can believe these five aren't closing their show with Rihanna!).
For fans of this group, the wait continues to be excruciatingly long. But when you listen to this album, you will see the time that We Are The Fallen has taken to create this masterpiece was worth every moment of anticipation.
I know you are all anxious for dates and information. I don't mean to tease you more, but I want you to know it is coming and it will be oh so worth every second you have waited.

WATF Concert Updates
The following was just reported on the WATF Twitter page:
First, the March 26th show in Philadelphia has changed venue from The Theater for the Living Arts to The Electric Factory. According to the tweet, the new venue is three times larger than the old one.
Also a second show has been added in New York at the end of the tour.
The second show will be on May 8th at Irving Plaza (the first show is on May 7th, also at Irving Plaza).
